Introduction
The Fiji Business Awards NZ 2025 will honour outstanding businesses and leaders from the Fiji diaspora across Aotearoa New Zealand. The awards dinner takes place on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm at the Remuera Club, 27 Ohinerau Street, Remuera, Auckland. Organisers expect more than 150 guests, including entrepreneurs, executives, and community leaders.
What the Event Offers
This inaugural awards night celebrates success, innovation, and service to the community. Guests can network with decision makers, showcase their brands, and support Fijian-owned and Fijian-led businesses. Dinner is included in the ticket.

Host and Chief Guest
The event is hosted by the Fiji Business Network (NZ) Inc, a not-for-profit group that mentors members, promotes collaboration, and connects businesses with opportunities. The Chief Guest is Hon. Professor Biman Prasad, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Republic of Fiji. The programme also features senior industry judges and community speakers.

- Business Leader of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award
These categories recognise growth, strong governance, innovation, customer satisfaction, visionary leadership, and long-term service to New Zealand, Fiji, and the wider Pacific community.
How to Enter
Entry is free. Individuals, businesses, not-for-profits, and organisations connected to the Fiji diaspora in New Zealand can apply. A business must be registered in New Zealand. You may enter multiple categories, but only once per category.

- Winners informed: 14 November 2025
- Winners announced: 19 November 2025 at the awards dinner
Judging and Criteria
An independent panel will score entries using five criteria, each weighted at 20 percent:
- Business Performance
- Innovation and Strategy
- Leadership and Culture
- Community and Social Impact
- Vision and Future
All entries are confidential. Judges declare conflicts of interest to ensure fairness.
Why it Matters
The Fiji business community contributes jobs, investment, and leadership across New Zealand. Many firms began with humble origins and now employ staff, support local causes, and export to the Pacific and beyond. By recognising these efforts, the awards aim to inspire the next generation and keep more success stories in Kiwi hands.
